Berwick-upon-Tweed Bridge Club is affiliated to the Scottish Bridge Union, plays in the East District and is a member of the Borders Association of Bridge Clubs.
Monday afternoon bridge started at the Parish Centre on Monday, 4 September at 2:30pm. Monday afternoon bridge is taking a summer break and will stop at the end of April. We hope to restart it in September 2024.
Since Thursday, 1 September 2022, we have been running BBO tournaments on Tuesday evenings and face-to-face tournaments at the Parish Centre on Thursday evenings.
During the summer, we will continue to run tournaments on Tuesday evenings on BBO and on Thursday evenings at the Berwick Parish Centre.
We are an SBU Virtual Club, meaning we can charge an entry for our BBO tournaments and award SBU master points: our tournaments are run by SBU_E_BER. Any SBU member is welcome to participate as a guest, although if you wish to play regularly please ask to join the club.
Paul also runs a popular 12-board tournament on BBO on Saturday mornings at 11am. This is not associated with the club or SBU, but it is a restricted tournament so check that he has your BBO username if you want to play.
